Wigan Swimming Club Invitational Sprint Gala

The club is to hold an Invitational Sprint Gala on Saturday 29th September 2007 at the International pool. It is hoped that as many as possible club swimmers will enter this event. This is an ideal event for a first time gala with swimmers being heat graded so you swim against swimmers of similar ability. Entry forms can be obtained from coaching staff or downloaded from the links on this site.

1. The competition will be held under A.S.A. Laws, on SATURDAY 29TH SEPTEMBER 2007.

2. Wigan International Pool is a 50m, 5/6 lane pool with anti-wave lane ropes.

3. Entries will be run on a cardless system

4. All events will be arranged according to submitted entry times. The number of entries per event will be at the discretion of the Meet Manager.

5. Entries will be accepted on ”FIRST COME - FIRST SERVED" basis, with
"NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY"

6. The Age Groups are: - 9yrs; 10yrs; 11yrs 12yrs; 13yrs and medals will be presented to the first six swimmers in the 9yr age group and for 1st 2nd and 3rd in all other age groups, 4th 5th and 6th will receive certificates.
